About Us
JustCan.com provides to
the disability community, both national and local level websites. Due to
the less mobile nature of the disability community, it is imperative
that services, communications and products be offered at the local
level. During 2001,
JustCan.com will be expanding to each and every state in the US, with an
individual website dedicated to local information and communications.
At both the national
and local levels we provide Internet portals where the entire disability
community can communicate in a simple and effective manner. We provide a community, which links to online disability
resources, products, services and support groups. In addition, our sites provide resources for local and
national level non-profit organizations, who work with the disability
community, to get an understanding of the fundraising processes and much
more. In addition we offer
forums to the non profits, where questions, answers and issues, can be
addressed.
The disability
community is large. Millions of people within the United States are
touched by disabilities, either directly or through relationships to
someone they know with a disability. Also, with an growing age
population, the number of people with disabilities also continues to
grow.
JustCan.com is a
self funded entity. We are
here for the long term, but require your help to make our vision as
effective as it can be. Many
volunteers are required to
help make our sites effective. At
the end of 2001, we fully expect to have 51 websites up and running.
To do this requires the dedication of people in each state to
help us build and maintain our sites.
